Tussock Cottage was a delightful retreat that truly exceeded our expectations. Nestled in a stunning location, it offered breathtaking views of the mountains and gardens, providing a peaceful haven away from the bustling streets of Queenstown, just 15 km away. Our hosts, Lee and Jaap, made us feel instantly at home with their warm welcome and helpful recommendations, plus those delicious homemade Anzac biscuits were a lovely touch after a day of exploring! The cottage was not only cozy and welcoming but also well-equipped with all necessary amenities, including a well-stocked kitchen where we enjoyed preparing meals together. The surrounding walking trails and the serene Lake Hayes added to the charm, making our stay an unforgettable experience. I can't recommend Tussock Cottage highly enough for anyone looking for an eco-friendly escape in New Zealand's breathtaking landscapes. I look forward to returning on my next adventure!
